Sherif Abbas

Sherif founded Mathpractice.xyz in 2023. He was motived by his year 9 daughter who kept asking him "please write me more practice problems!" So after doing this many times with pen and paper, it ocurred to him: how about creating her endless practice problems with python programming? And there you go. PDF exercise sheets were first published in his blog, and later online quizzes were hosted in a new domain, which is the current www.mathpractice.xyz.
He is also a researcher at Deakin University in Victoria.
He works at the Applied Artificial Intelligence Institute, a place where AI is used to address challenging problems in many fields.
Sherif holds a PhD degree in Physics from the University of Sydney.
