SMathPractice.xyz was founded in 2023 by Sherif, a researcher and educator passionate about making maths practice more accessible and engaging. The idea was inspired by his Year 9 daughter, who frequently asked, "Can you write me more practice problems?" After countless handwritten exercises, he had a realization—why not generate unlimited practice problems using Python programming?

What started as simple PDF exercise sheets shared on his blog quickly grew into an interactive platform. Today, MathPractice.xyz offers dynamic online quizzes and resources designed to help students sharpen their maths skills through endless practice.

Sherif is a researcher at Deakin University in Victoria, working at the Applied Artificial Intelligence Institute, where AI is leveraged to tackle complex challenges across various fields. He holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Sydney and is dedicated to combining his expertise in AI and education to create meaningful learning experiences.
